Today is the first day of this site’s life. Here’s some quick background for all of you.
A couple of months ago a friend of mine (I’m Jonah the friend is Joe) showed me a utility he was using to make games. This utility is Game Maker 7. He was using it to make a Fan game of the popular turn-based strategy game series “Fire Emblem.” I’m a huge fan of the series and I wanted to learn how to make games so I downloaded the program and went through several tutorials. I asked him if I could help with his game. He said yes because, while he could do graphics, he needed a coder.
We eventually decided that we needed to come up with a premise for the story of the game. After a small bit of deliberation we decided to make a game taking place before Fire Emblem 6 and 7 during “The Scouring” (If you’re a Fire Emblem fan then you already know what that is). After working on it for a few months I asked him if he thought that we should make a blog to document our progress. He thought it was a good idea, so we decided to call ourselves “Faucet” as a spin-off of the company “Valve.” So now here I am writing this first entry.
I plan on updating this site as often as possible because people will stop coming if they never find anything
